CASTING COMPETITION
Format of the Competition are two
rounds. They are preliminary round and final round. The rules of each round are
as follows:
General rule
1)
Every participant in this competition must be a senior
high school student
2)
Every participant sould already be reregistered before
the competition starts
3)
The materials used in this competition originated from
the commitee
4)
Every participant has to wear formal apparel.
5)
A minimal use of cosmetics is allowed for participants.
Preliminary round
1) The newscaster enters the
newscast room from the waiting one.
2) The participant will get one news
script. The news script will be unpunctuated.
3) In this session each participants
has 1 minute to check and to correct the blind news script.
4) The time keeper will give the
participant sign to start his/her performance.
5) Each participant has 3 minutes to
perform include opening and closing sentence.

best participant from preliminary round will come in final round
The final round
1) The finalist will get one
opportunity more to perform.
2) The
materials for the competition consist of weather forecast
3) The
participants will get a picture of some region,which displays degrees,weather
and etc after preliminary round and participant must illustrate that picture
4) The finalist must convey the news
by their own word and concept.
5) The finalist has 15 minutes to
prepare the last performance in the final round.
6) The finalist has 3 minutes to
perform the news.
7) In this session, the adjudicator
decides who will be the first, second, and the third winner.
8) The adjudicators’ decisions are
absolute.

1. Pronunciation 20%
2. Fluency 20%
3. Eyes Contact 20%
4. Intonation 15%
5. Performance 15%
